Home care in the GTA, without the guesswork.
See which agencies serve your municipality, what publicly funded care covers, and what the rest of the week will cost.
Public funding
The province funds a few hours a week
Ontario Health atHome usually funds 3 to 10 hours a week once someone is assessed. If your parent needs help every day, the rest of the week is yours to arrange. Most families find this out during a hospital discharge call, with a few days to decide.
About three hours a day. Morning routine, meals, light housekeeping and company.
Roughly what the gap costs
for the 15 hours a week the province does not cover, at GTA personal-support rates.
